Verifcation for database being properly setup before going for Pega 7.1.9 installation
Is there way to verify if the database tasks on MSSQL server for Production environment(Copying Pega_Rules schema from dev DB and Pega_Data schema from old DB) have been completed properly before going for running the Data Only upgrade scripts for installing Pega 7.1.9?
Known steps :
1.Checking the object count
2.Checking the permissions for Pega and Pega_Admin user

Hi,
can you kindly specify the what type of approach are you following during production?
Generally to answer your question we have two types of upgrades
1)repeating the entire split schema upgrade approch
If you follow this approach we are not sure what are parameters that help you take make sure you have a proper upgrade we need to check only upgrade logs that they are clean
2)the other approach was pega lift and shift where if you have your lower environments working good we are sure that we will not have any problem in production also.
pega recommends the lift and shift approach

i don't think we have any further verification steps for it.If it works in lower environments it will work in higher environments. can you let me know if you have any more concerns.
