Has anyone ever configured SendGrid as the Email Account in Pega Platform? I'd like to avoid using a Connector to call SendGrid API's but would rather just configure the SMTP information in Pega. Most all support information in the community around SendGrid is regarding the available connector in Pega Marketing. Responses with screenshots would be appreciated.

You have to create an Email Account, under Records --> Integration-Resources --> Email Account. See the screenshot attached as to how to configure the Sender.
This is not the most optimal way of sending an email via SendGrip because it just uses SMTP. We have found the best way is to use the SendGrid API's and use Integration Connectors to invoke those SendGrid API's. The reason this is better is because if you use the SendGrid API's you get all of the nice analytics and information from SendGrid, which is likely why you client uses SendGrid to begin with. :)
Using the "Email Account" / "SMTP" way of sending an email via sendgrid doesn't provide you with this nice information from sendgrid.
