Using CQL (the Cassandra Query Language) from Pega to query Cassandra
Hi Team,
Does anyone have an experience using CQL (the Cassandra Query Language) queries directly from Pega? I am not interested in using DDS Data Set, or Connect-Cassandra rules, as I am looking more for execution of the CQL query, which allows to write a light and flexible statements for data aggregation. Will that be possible from an activity?
I really appreciate replies in that topic.

You probably need to write java to do so (through activity) - using java driver to Cassandra: https://github.com/datastax/java-driver/tree/4.x/manual/query_builder

Thanks Kevin. I also configured the Pega Database rule to connect to the Cassandra DB, so after that I configured the Pega Data Type with the Concrete Class on Cassandra Table, so with that we can create the Pega Report Definitions and the Pega Data Pages to consume the Cassandra data. This solution has some limitations in comparison to the SQL tables queried from Pega, so will it be an easier way from the Pega Activity to query the Cassandra Table, having the Pega Data Type linked into the Cassandra Table, in comparison to using Java driver in Java step? I know that the Connect-SQL cannot be used with CQL, but maybe Pega has something similar, which is supported.
