Upgrading from v7.1.5 to 8.1; Exception - java.lang.IllegalStateException: Could not determine upgrade from version
Hi,
We are trying to upgrade from PRPC v7.1.5 to v8.1
When using the IUA utility, we get this exception - java.lang.IllegalStateException: Could not determine upgrade from version
We are using JDK 1.8.0_202 and Oracle driver - ojdbc7.jar
Database version: Oracle Database 12c Enterprise EditionRelease Proprietary information hidden.0 - 64bit Production
Driver: Oracle JDBC driver
Driver version: Proprietary information hidden.0
Version of JDBC supported by driver: 4.1

To be perfectly honest I normally use the script.
Although I believe I've seen that error before but the problem stemmed from something earlier.
Do you have any log files which show further details of the processing (perhaps in the /scripts/logs directory)
Was this a fresh run of a new upgrade attempt, and if so, do you remove the "resume.properties" file before attempting the upgrade?

Thank you for your reply.
Yes I attempted a fresh run after restoring the database from backup and I was able to move past that point.
I got a bunch of other errors in the logs but looks like they are not fatal.
