Automated Unit Testing - v7.1.1 to v7.1.5 Unavailable
Hi.
On the PDN (https://collaborate.pega.com/question/do-we-have-automated-testing-718-rest-services-pdn-search-shows-only-soap-services-there) it mentions:
“Note: Automated unit testing is unavailable in PRPC 7.1.1 - 7.1.5. Starting in 7.1.6, users can access AUT from supported browser version of IE.”
The client would like to use automated unit testing but only have v7.1.5. What issues are we likely to encounter if we do start using what is available? I have tested, and successfully automated, Test Suites for Test Cases on Decision Tables, so I know that works. However, Test Cases on Flows do not work correctly.
If we do create, use and schedule Test Suites and Test Cases where they do work in v7.1.5 are we likely to encounter upgrade issues for future versions? Or any other issues? Is it best to just not use the functionality that is present, and use other 3rd party tools for automated testing?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thanks.
