Upgraded from 7.3 to 8.4.1 and getting listener error while trying to start file listener.
While trying to restart a listener that is not disabled. It is throwing error "Reason: No active listeners found for thread" and also under the status it is showing as disabled although the we have selected "Run on all nodes".
We are having only having one node in the env.

Thanks for your help.
Resolved this issue by redeploying the listener from 7.3 version and this time used DSS to specify the listener path. And /initservices/initfile DSS is already set to true.

Did you do the validation of the rules?
Whenever we are performing the upgrade we need to stop the Listeners, queues ..etc. if we don't stop them, there will a chance of re-run the queue again something like that
Note: My experience is with Pega in-place upgrade from 7.3.x to 8.3.x.

Can you check if DSS "/initservices/initfile" is set to false(which has to be true). when the listeners are disabled globally, this issue may occur while starting from admin studio individually.
