Is OpneSpan support unix commands in automations? If yes let me know.

Hi JayaChandar,
Assuming that you are using RDA on a Windows desktop, I think we have to rely on some sort of emulators to execute Unix commands.
SME Jeff discussed the basic support for emulators to execute shell scripts with RPA in this post. Not pretty sure that support applies to RDA.

Can you clarify what you mean by 'Unix Commands' here - for instance:
1. Do mean executing commands on a Unix / Linux system remotely - using 'putty' etc ?
2. Do you mean running something like 'Cygwin' (which gives a pseudo Linux Environment in Windows) ?
3. Do you mean running PRPC/Robotics directly on Unix / Linux machine.
I'm pretty sure option 3 will NOT work : since Robotics is based on the Microsoft Platform.
For 1; in theory this might work (using a 'sendkeys' type API at least) - but in practice I don't know whether Pega Robotics supports this.
For 2; in theory this might also work (from a 'cmd.exe' shell etc) - but again in practice - I don't know whether Pega Robotics support this or not.

Yes, I want to execute unix commands from Automation. Jeff told that putty won't support by OpenSpan, we are trying using other emulators as suggested by Jeff.
