unable to start process iexplore.exe and notepad.exe
Hi there,
I am facing the following issues,
unable to start process iexplorer.exe for web application
unable to start notepad.exe for windows application, notepad. This is same for all the windows applications.
i have attached a screen shot, i am getting similar pop up for windows applications
As suggested in old posts, I have changed the settings,
Tools->options->studio diagnostics->output publisher -> off
It is not working.
I am using
Window 10 enterprise
OpenSpanStudioSetup_8_0_1016. this version was working fine with windows7
I have installed Robotic studio as Admin
IE version:11
Please help.

Hello,
There can be different reasons for your issues. Try the following:
1. Try higher version. 8.0.1093 or even 8.1.x. Install as admin.
2. Try to launch Pega Robotic Studio as admin.
3. Check the latest Windows updates. There were some comments about problematic one.
4. Check that you have correct parameters for Notepad:
- Path: C:\Windows\system32\notepad.exe
- StartMethod: Start
- TargetPath: leave empty
- WorkingDirectory: C:\Windows\system32
5. Check that you have correct parameters for IE:
- BrowserBitness: Only32bit
- StartMethod: Start
- StartPage: www.google.com (or any other correct page address)

Are you asking me to upgrade the Windows 10?
I have worked on windows adapter and web adapter with windows 7 and robotic studio OpenSpanStudioSetup_8_0_1016. It was working fine so it has nothing to do with the steps.

I did not ask you to upgrade Windows 10. My point is to check do you have the lastest Windows Updates that can cause the issue. Please check the link s and suggestions from the follwing posts:

Hello,
I have an update. I suppose that your issue is caused by Windows version 1809. You can check the supported versions on the Minimum requirements section (https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/documents/pega-robotic-automation-studio-plug-80-sp1-installation-instructions). Issue with 1809 had been fixed recently and you should try to download and install the Pega Robotic Automation version 8.0 SP1 2017 update from Digital Delivery (https://community.pega.com/digital-delivery).

No I have not received any solution so far. My windows version is Window10 Enterprise. I have tried with other Windows 10 home version and there OpenSpanStudioSetup_8_0_1016 is working fine. Not sure why it is not working with Windows 10 Enterprise version.
