Unable to move an interrogated control into automation

I use 8.177 version of the Studio and it looks to have a problem. I have interrogated a control and when I try to drag a property into my automation it just gets stuck. It doesn't put that property into the automation.Is there a way to solve this. I have tried reinstalling as well.

Is it restricted to a specific property or method? Can you give some more context, maybe with a screenshot? Is it only with one type of adapter?
