unable to launch HTTP url from iframe in same window
Hi,
Anyone please help me on how to launch HTTP url from iframe in same window.
I have tried open url in new window, its working but i have requirement that i have a button , once i click on that button it should hit the url & display the content below that button.
i tried Iframe , but its displaying blank screen, if if click on F12, showing mixed content error(https url should be used instead of http)
please help me how can we access http url from pega without serverside changes

@veeram78 Hi, i have the same requirement as you stated above. Please share solution if you are able to launch Iframe on same window. If you can share any document stating instruction will be great.

Hi Sridhar, the URL that you are using should be HTTPS.In my case they have provided https URL instead of http

@veeram78 You can include the two separate layout in a section. In one of the layout you can display top content till your button and and in another layout you can include the "iframe url" to display separate content using a mapped property from the clipboard which holds correct value of the url (set this property on click of button and refresh whole section)
We had done this long back in Pega 6.2 version.

@veeram78 - If you use chrome as browser, you need to use both URLs in https mode i.e. parent application and iframe application both.
However, IE provides the flexibility to launch http url in iframe provided you give consent to show insecure content. you can try with IE for now.
My suggestion would be to upgrade the urls to https for long term benefits.
