Unable to Interrogate developer tools tab F12 in Internet Explorer

Hi,

I need to interrogate a few things in F12 developer tools tab using IE. But the interrogation mode turns off and the bulls eye disappears as soon as I press the F12 button.

I'm working on Pega Robotics Studio version 8.0 

Is it possible to interrogate the developer tools tab? Can someone help me in this.
