Unable to edit User Interface in Case Designer in Pega v8.6

In Pega v8.6 Case Designer when I click on the User interface tab I observe the following error:

Failed to fetch dynamically imported module: https://<hostname>/prweb/constellation/8.6.0-101/bootstrap-shell.js?v=

the browser tries to load a javascript module however Pega sets the content type to "text/html" which is invalid.

because of this error I cannot see the views created for the case type once I switch the application to React-based UI. 

Do you have any workaround for this?
