unable to create same name property under child class

I also had faced similar problem.
1. Create one temporary ruleset versions(e.g. 01-01-10).
2. Save as the property(the single page property according to your example above) which is already present and mark that property as withdrawn.
3. Now create the new property(text type) in the child class (in 01-01-11) .
4. Once the property is created delete the withdrwan property (from 01-01-10).

We ran into same issue.
You can also create a new text property with different name (main2). Under advance tab, add pzExternalName as qualifier with value as main under advance tab.
This worked for us.
