Same issue here. 

+ I can not access Designer Studio in my virtual exercise environment. I get strange URL for starting PEGA7 (pfa): http://:9080

This happens frequently if you remain inactive for long period, To resolve this, just go to the link academy.pega.com once again (relogin if required) and select your course and start progressing.
