UI-based tests with automated scenario testing
Any body used this feature ?? is this available in 7.3 ?

Pega Scenario testing is only available in the 8.1 Infinity platform. We do have sample scenario tests that are shipping as part of a suite of smoke tests that include Pega unit tests as well for CRM applications. Those can be good starting points.

Hi,
What is the difference between Automated unit testing and Scenario based testing.. In my understanding,developer executes the identified test case or scripts in both the cases.. Scenario testing will be done in UAT test phase or environment? Can any one elaborate the differences..

Hi Mani,
AUT which now known as PegaUnit are basically for individual Pega rules where we have different assertion type based on that you can do the unit testing of that rule whereas Scenario testing is for UI -based testing that covers OOTB controls, layouts, and lists,Custom Controls,Page-to-page navigation and local actions. You can test specific case type or the entire portal in Scenario based testing.
