Twitter integration with prpc

Hello everyone,

I have Intergrated twitter to pega,and able to get tweets when someone tweets,and successfully able to create a work object for negative sentiment,now once the case is created,my requirement is to respond back to tweet from pega.Can anyone help me how to achieve the second part to replies to tweet from pega to twitter for particular work object,gone through many post and documents but not able to find the solution

Any help appretiated.

Hello Akash,

Use ReplyTweet OOTB service from Pega Social to reply to a tweet.

  1. Copy the pyPublisherID from the pr_data_nlp_summary table for the tweet you would like to reply
  2. Edit the activity ReplyToTweet as below to set the ReplyToId and Message in step 1.
  3. Run the activity which calls ReplyTweet service to reply to a tweet already posted.

I have not tried it till now but these are suggested steps . Please let me know if you are able to achieve the requirement.

Hello Abishek,

Thanks for the reply Abishek,

I tried the steps you mentioned but that didn't worked out,can you elaborate futher on it if possibleor any other links to same topics will also help.

I tried passing pyPublisherID and the message to CPMReplyToTweetActivity,which i want to reply back to user,but activity seems fine showing success status but i am not able to see the reply on twitter after submitting.

I am not able to see any PDN links but please look into the below PDN link which will direct you to CPM Guide, which might help.

Still if you are not able to achieve , I would suggest you to raise an SR with Pega Support and some SME from DSM team will help you out.
