How can I solve the issue in Pega where the text in a Property is Truncated on my reports? On the report I believe the user only sees 31 or 32 characters displayed. How can I increase the characters for a Text Property in Pega?
Please see the attached file for a better understanding.
The width of the DB table column associated with the property dictates the length of the text that is fetched by the report definition. In your scenario, most likely, the DB table column associated with the property is probably not big enough to accommodate the length of the text.
You can increase the width of the DB table column associated with the property.

Your whole property data is stored in the BLOB. Your have an exposed column for that property. If the column length is less than the size of data stored in BLOB, the data will be truncated even though the BLOB contains the full value. The solution is to alter the column length.
If you do an obj-open instead of report definition to populate the property, you will get the full text as we read the data from BLOB.
