Tracking robot executions from Robot manager

Hi,

We are planning to develop a custom solution to track the robot executions from Robot Manager with more detailed information. The idea is to write from Robotics Studio directly in a database table and to create an interface in Pega Platform to display these entries. We would access to this interface from Robot Manager using a button or a menu option or however.

My doubt is about where to create this database table? My original idea is to use a data type in Pega Platform but I don't know if these tables are prepared to store many entries and not only many entries but with no limit.

Other options?

Create a table in external database.

Create a database rule.

Use external database table class mapping to create a class for table in external database.

Create a Datapage or report definition to fetch the data from external table.
