Time Comparison
Hi,
Can anyone help with how I would go about comparing a time to a set time in order to stop an automation from running i.e. if the last successful run through the automation was at 20:11 and this is after 20:00 the automation does not run again.
I presume you would start with extracting the current date/time using DateTimeUtil (Now) but have no idea where to go from here.

You can use the DateTimeUtils for that as well. Today will give you a DateTime value that is midnight, then you can Add to it. Here is an example.

I am not sure i understood ur requirement correctly,but did u try using the function CompareDates().which returns true if a particular date is after a specified date.

DateTimeUtil has a Compare function. It is based on DateTime.Compare (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.datetime.compare(v=vs.110).aspx). It accepts two DateTime values (t1 and t2) and returns an integer value based on this table:

Thanks Jeff makes sense. How would I set the limitDate value to be the current date but with a specific time? i.e. every day the date would change but the time would remain static, 10/03/2016 20:00:00, 10/04/2016 20:00:00, 10/05/2016 20:00:00
