Is there a way to view properties stored in the blob?
We have an ongoing project where numerous external data elements are stored on Pega work objects. This is a bit complicated by the fact that the work types have levels of inheritance, page data types, and multiple layers of parent-child relationships.
We are in an application upgrade project and need to know which properties are defined for each case type (we have about 25 case types). So far it seems we need to open a case in Designer Studio and then review the clipboard for properties. But this is messy at best and highly manual.
Has anyone solved for this use case previously?

Did you try using pr_read_from_stream function in the Database like below?
select pr_read_from_stream('.PropName',pzInsKey,pzPVStream) from table_name where column_name=XYZ;

Hi Phil,
If you have got license for BIX, you can create BIX extracts to extract all the properties from BLOB corresponding to a class mapped to a specific table. You can either use Outype format as either xml or csv.If you use XML, it gives an option to export all the properties.
