Is there pre condtion for pyEmailMaxResends to work properly?
I had changed pyEmailMaxResends to be 5 (from 3) to do 2 more email send attempt but it still attempt only 3 times.
After the change, I had rebooted web server but there is not change.
Is there a bug for pyEmailMaxResends?
I checked OnSend (Data-Corr-) rule and It seems to be checking "RecoverableError" as pre-condition.
Give us your advice for this.

Automatic resends
When the system sends outbound email, if the connection to the email server fails, messages are automatically queued for resending later. The number of resend attempts made is defined in the Pega-ProcessEngine.pyEmailMaxResends system setting.

We found pyEmailMaxResends is checking whether the error is recoverable or unrecoverable by using the function “pega_integrationengine_default.SendEmailMessage”.
So, it is recoverable then refer to pyEmailMaxResends to retry, if not then use default setting as it is.
Therefore, it is working as design in some sense but there is no document of what is recoverable error unless you check the function of SendEmailMessage.
To workaround this, we need to modify Step 1of Java code or SendEmailMessage based on what need to done.
Wish we have a document of recoverable /unrecoverable errors for Email resend.
