Is there any Pega OOTB function available to Strip the Invalid Characters from String ?
Hi All,
Is there any Pega OOTB function available to Strip the Invalid Characters from a String ? I could see a function -- stripInvalidCharacters .
can someone confirm if this can be used for this particular UseCase.

Hi Hari,
Is there such a thing as character which is always invalid ? Wouldn't this depend on the context of the data you are working with ?
Do you have a concrete example of what you mean: and what invalid characters you need to check for ?

Hi John,
CSR's while taking Address from the Customers over the Phone Interaction, often they get confused while entering the single apostrophe ( ' ) with ( ` ). At the Service End, Address fields failing to get parsed due to these confusable/invalid characters.
Actually, I'm yet to get more details on this. Once I get those details, I can share you an example.
