Is there any new control on Pega 7 for replacing the obsolete DataGrid control

Hi,

    We have a requirement in our ongoing project to render a ValueList property in the UI. We recently upgraded to Pega 7 and before that, while we were using Pega 6, data grids served our purpose. But now on version 7, data grids do not render any content on the UI as they are deprecated.

    We need to continue to use this value list property (changes to property definition cannot be accommodated at this point) . Could you please let us know how to address this problem that we're facing.

HI Tashika,

The link is not saying anything how to replace datagrid when the source property is a valuelist. Can we have any solution for the question asked by Bindu?

Unfortunately the data grids have very small list of source right now - a report definition, page list or data page. i would suggest you to convert the value list or fetch the results programattically a similar list. I see similar problems where the developer is un-able to convert or use the value list from Pega 6 when the product was upgraded to pega 7

How are you? Good to see in community :)

I see similar issue mentioned in https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/datagrid-not-working-post-upgrade. Here, recommendation was to replace their data grid control with latest grid layout.

And, I agree with Subhadip's comment.
