TextBox Search functionality is not working by giving text data with automation - Textbox is having Auto Search functionality

Hi

i have one textbox need to automate which had a functionality like auto search.

when we paste some text it will auto search the results.

can someone help me how to achieve with Automation?

i have tried with RaiseEvent--> onchange etc and Focus Method.

Try sendKeys with the search text like SendKeys("ABCD") . Try sendkeys method with the textbox if SendKeys not available for the textbox Focus it first then execute SendKeys of Form/Frame parent control.

Thanks for your reply. its working fine with SendKeys in form level. but when i lock the machine its not working due to this issue i am not supposed to use. can someone please let me know if there is any way to achieve this,

You should consider opening an SR with our support team. They may be able to assist you with a better way to perform this step. You are correct in that SendKeys will not work when the desktop is locked.
