When you have controls that are not matching for any reason, it is a good idea to check to see if the parent controls are matching. Perhaps it isn't the DataCell that is not matching, but in-fact the entire table. It might also be the page itself. I would start with an examination of the RuntimeLog.txt when All Categories are set to Verbose. You can search for the event that triggers the refresh and look down from there on all attempts at matching the controls in the hierarchy above your DataCell starting with the page itself. Search for the following (replacing the control name with the name of the control you are searching for); "| ControlName". This will show you all of the attempts at matching and ultimately whether or not it was successful. From here, you can determine where in your hierarchy the issue is.
