System Architect Essentials 7.3 Exercise: Updating inheritance for the Employee data class
Hi,
In the exercise in 7.3/7.4 SAE course " Updating inheritance for the Employee data class " In Verify your work step 3, it shows a picture of the data model tab on the Employee data type. On the top right of the picture there is a check box to "Show Reusable FIelds", In the exercise system however I see a search box instead of the checkbox. I am unable to view the reusable fields.
Update: I noticed that the Data Model tab in the Case Designer has the checkbox but Employee is a Data Type, not a case.

I do not think it is specific to the exercise system. I see it under the data model tab of a case however I do not see it under the data model tab of a data record such as Employee. For example, if you want to add a reusable field such as pyID to a data record, is it necessary to modify the underlying report definition to make it show up?
