Sync Product Catalogue for CPQ (via PCF) and Pega Marketing in PCS for Comms
We are trying to build a PoC on Pega Customer Service for Communications application which has CPQ, FCC, PCF, Marketing etc. However, we are struggling to understand how can we use the Product Catalogue created for CPQ via PCF in Marketing FW.
Pega Customer Service for Communications suite contains all of these modules which should be used in conjuction with each other and we cant figure out a way to solve this problem.
Obviously client doesnt want to develop and maintain separate product catalogues for CPQ and Marketing applications. How can we integrate the product catalogues?

Pega Marketing for Comms and the Communications Catalog are integrated. The Catalog provides an API which provides Product Offer details including the associated base Price. PMC provides an out of box integration with Catalog utilising this API, and it generates Propositions (including Price) from the Product Offers.
There are constraints in this integration, currently PMC does not consider the multiple pricing points that can be represented in the Catalog, the synchronisation between PMC and Catalog is manual, and the Compatibility creates in the Catalog. These are things that future versions of the Product may consider.
If you can be more specific in your question (i.e. what is it that you are trying to do that the product doesn't support), then I can may be able to provide more clarity.
