Stream Service Exception- Node has associated Broker id
The stream service is in JOINING_FAILED status and does not Start. Shows the below exception--
com.pega.dsm.dnode.api.StreamServiceException: Node has associated broker id at com.pega.dsm.dnode.impl.server.StreamServiceConfiguration.replaceNodeBrokerId(StreamServiceConfiguration.java:336) at com.pega.dsm.dnode.api.server.StreamServerService$StreamServiceStartOperation$2.execute(StreamServerService.java:348
What we tried--
1. updated different available ports as kafka broker/ keeper ports. Restarted the server but it didnt work
2. Truncated the pr_sys_statusnodes table and restarted . Issue persisted
Any suggestions would help..

Hi Ankita,
I hope the following have already been performed:
A.Ensure that the below default ports are open on the server where Pega is hosted:
dsm/services/stream/pybrokerPort (default port 9092)
dsm/services/stream/pykeeperPoert (default port 2181)
dsm/services/stream/pyJmxPort (default port 9999)
dsm/services/stream/pyport (default port 7003)
B.Go to the Pega Temp Directory and delete kafka_data and Kafka- Proprietary information hidden directories.
C.Truncate the following tables and restart node:
pegadata.pr_data_stream_node_updates
pegadata.pr_data_stream_sessions
pegadata.pr_data_qp_run_partition
pegadata.pr_sys_statusnodes
NOTE: Truncatinf Kafka_Directory will cause loss of any existing data already posted to embedded Kafka brokers and yet to be processed.
If this has already been performed have you tried decommissioning and re-adding the stream node?
