"StepStatusFail" condition for exception handling
Hello everyone! :)
As the title says, I was wondering if the PEGA when condition "StepStatusFail" is also able to catch exceptions during execution if added as part of the "Jump" step of an Activity, or if those are only able to be handled if added on the "On exception" part of the Jump.
Attached an screenshot for reference, would the "On exception" part be necessary in this situation?

Ok so I ran some testing for the scenario I specified at the beggining and the behavior is as follows:
If there's a java exception, and you only use the "StepStatusFail" as part of the jump when condition, then the exception will just make the app crash, it is not caught only with the "StepStatusFail".
So for the scenario I mentioned, adding a jump on the "On Exception" is actually required, this cannot be avoided using only "StepStatusFail" or "StepStatusGood" conditions.

In exception case also you can use StepStatusFail condition Jump.It honors the exception as well
