SSA 7.2 Course Rule Resolution Lesson
I have a problem with the Rule Resolution lesson in the new SSA 7.2 course. The exercise objective is to create a new version of the rule "EmployeeInformation" in the TGB-HRApps-Work class and withdraw the existing rules from the Onboarding, BenefitsEnrollment, and EmployeeEvaluation subclasses. I have completed the steps and the rule resolution works for all but the BenefitsEnrollment class. Instead of resolving to the TGB-HRApps-Work version of "EmployeeInformation", it resolves to a ruleset called "HRFW:01-01-01" applying to the class TGB-HRApps-Work-BenefitsEnrollment. This does not match the other versions of EmployeeInformation which exist in the "HRFW:01-01-01". All of the others apply to class PegaHR-FW-HRFW-Work-... I believe this is a course data error. Can you please confirm? I have attached a screen shot of my records listing for EmployeeInformation.

So, this is actually a good lesson in the limits of rule resolution. It wasn't supposed to be, but might as well take advantage of the situation.
The problem is that the exercise system contains an extra rule that was caught in the middle of being moved from one class and ruleset to another. The ruleset was changed, but not the class.
The reason that this overrides the reconfigured rule is because rule resolution requires a match on both the class and ruleset for a withdrawn rule to mask any other rules. The "extra" rule is in a different ruleset, and so the withdrawn rule doesn't mask this instance, and thus you don't see what you should see.
The issue is being addressed and will be available in am updated exercise system.

I ran into the same issue and it might very well be an error in the course. See my screenshot that is attached, if you view the references and overrides to the Employee Information Section in TGB-HRApps-Work-Benefits Enrollment with a RS HRApps:01-01-02. This section is actually overriding the Employee Section in the TGB-HRApps-Work Applies To class, which is the opposite of what is expected according to the exercise.
