Special character converting(£ to ?) in Pega Rest API(api • v1 • cases)

HI,

in one of the application we are using the Pega Rest API to create the case. while user is putting the (£) GBP sign on the request data it is getting converted to the (?). has anybody faced this problem before?

Please verify the file encoding value using SMA.If it is not UTF-8 then special characters will be encoded as junk values.Please set it to UTF-8.

Hello Ajay, 

If file encoding is set to UTF-8 and yet you see the reported behavior, then refer the post which suggests to use @encodeURLParameter​() function.
