Sorting on pyID
Hi,
I am trying to sort on .pyID and found other posts providing a solution (https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/inconsistency-sorting-functionality-work-objects-id).
My issue is, i'm on 7.2, and solution is 7.1.6 and the screens are different. It says create a function alias under Embed-UserFunction, but when i try to create the alias, I can't find 'Embed-UserFunction' and was hoping someone could help

Hi,
Navigate through Records->Technical->Function Alias. Create your function alias and give applies to as Embed-UserFunction class.

Thanks Akshay, that helped move me forward, although I am stuck a little further on.
When I try to add the function in the report as a column, Pega can't find it. I've checked the spelling and added a header with no luck. Here is a screen shot.

Clicked on function builder icon (fx) beside there and check there. The screenshot is not attached properly.

I have applied same function alias in my report definition for two different columns(one is pyID and other one is another Workobject ID). Sorting works fine for both of them. However, the filtering doesnot work for one of the column.
In my application there are two ID columns in RD(one is PYID(SI-xx) and other is Scenario ID(ST-xx). Whichever column I keep first in the order, sorting and filtering works fine for it. However the second column filtering does not work fine. It says NO results found when clicked on filter. I have used same Function alias for both the columns(IDToInteger) as described int he given link and different control for the column as prefix are different.
I tried with different Function alias for both the columns, but even that did not work. Can you please help me with this

Hi guys,
Can anyone suggest me how to do this on PEGA 7.3.1.While creating Function Alias,its asking for function name first.
