slowness problem in loading a table sourced by Data page
Hello everyone, I have a slowness issue when displaying a table content in a section using Data page which is sourced via reports definition (with some conditions on the operator role to decide which report to consider).
The issue is when the the role is more general and the table dispalys more records, it is not slow at all (it takes arround 4 seconds) but with the other role which is more specific and displays less records it take more time to display the table content (more than 20 seconds).
For info: - In the Data page there are 2 conditions (2 reports) - I enable the pagination. - The reports use filters with "not equal" comparisons - The reports use a subreport

On the data access tab of the report definition, uncheck 'Report on descendant class instances' checkbox. Try to use as much equals filter as possible. Check the expense plan of the report, based on which create column indexes which should decrease the load time.

Take the SQL that is being generated from the report, then goto the query inspector and generate an expense plan. Based on the plan, see the columns that are taking more time. You need to create indexes on those columns.

Hi @AmiraF34: Can you check in the tracer (or) using PAL / DB trace to identify the time taken for the SQL. This will help to narrow down the root cause. If this is a SQL issue, then you need to optimize the SQL either by adding required index (or) by updating the report definition to use a optimized SQL.
