Service Rest POST

Hi,

I am looking for Activity steps to create Work Object in Pega using Service REST POST, can some help and provide steps if any.

Please let me know hosting a service REST to create work objects in Pega. The Pega application Integrating with middle ware system and creating case in Pega. Need to configure another activity in an Agent to fetch the records from the middle ware system( base requirement). I need steps for activity which need to configure in service rest.

Pega has OOTB REST services

Navigation details 

1. Designer studio - top right corner click on resource menu (?) - Click on Pega API - check under cases category 

2. To view the API code -  Go to Integration resources -  service packages  - Filter service package name with 'api' - you are able see all the api
