Segregate Attachments from one Screen to another

We have a requirement that we have to list and segregate attachments screen vise. Like attachments that are upload from Screen 1 should only be shown on Screen 1 and similarly attachments on screen 2 should be depicting the ones from that screen uploads.

How can we add a property on Link-Attachments class so that they can be segregated based on that property?

Any extension points that we have?

Use attachment categories to identify and segregate.

In Screen 1 upload attachment categories using an attachment category and display these attachments in another screen by filtering the attachments using category.
