Scope of FaaS in Pega
Hi Pega Fam !
These days probably most of the software runs on cloud which is common thing. Out of it the most HOT topic out there is "FaaS" and I always wonder how exactly it works on Pega. I will really appreciate if any one among our HUGE Pega Fam explains me the relationship or connectivity between Pega and FaaS

I can give you my two cents here: Pega provides SaaS (software as a service) to our clients whereas FaaS is normally provided by cloud providers (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc). We are sitting one level higher. We do leverage some of the FaaS (e.g., Amazon Lambda) in our Pegacloud offering internally. But as of now, I am not aware of any FaaS interface offering from Pega.

At this moment, I am only aware of the fact that PegaCloud uses AWS Lambda to facilitate certain support services independent of Pega product, e.g., Global Operations Console.
