SAE 1 - Objective
Hi All,
I have a doubt for a answer in the object of SAE 1 course
I feel like the option that i have highlighted using the red colour is also right (Please refer to the attached image). Give your suggestions.

Hi,
You are not phisycally overriding the control from the property form at design time.
It is at run time that "pxDropdown" will take precedence over the "pxInteger".
Allowing you to have a default control for a property that may be overridden in a couple of screens for instance.

Hi,
You have 2 places where to map properties and controls.
- In the property form itself (Display & Validation)
This is where you tell what control to use by default when using the property in a cell. (Answer D
- In the cell of a layout in a section.
This is where you can use the "inherited from property" or use the same control as defined in the property form or, use another control that then will override the control defined in the property form. (Opposite of answer C)

Hi Damien,
I have a property "Age" which is an interger that had Display & Validation as pxInteger. Now i added it to a section and changed the control to Dropdown but even Display & Validation part of the property is still pxInteger. It didn't change.

Then the third option in the question has a ambiquity right. I cannot conclude if the question is for run time or design time right.
