Run a strategy from a REST service
Hi,
I would like to run a marketing strategy and to return the output using a REST service (already defined and with some restrictions, I cannot use OOTB services). I know that there are at least three different ways to implement this requirement:
a. Calling the same activity of Container MKT OOTB service, mapping the properties (prweb/PRRestService/PegaMKTContainer/V2/Container)
b. Executing a data flow in the activity, loading customer data at the beginning
c. Using default marketing events (TriggerPegaMKTEvent)
I would like to know the differences and which one is the fastest (v.7.3).

There should not be much difference in the performance, given c and a in your approaches are just doing b (i.e calling a DF through an activity internally)
Also keep in mind approach c (events) - does not return the offer / strategy results. So your use case matches the OOTB capability for containers (option a) and the recommendation is to do that.
