Rule type changes in Pega 7.2 to 7.4 upgrade
Hello,
Am looking for lists of rule type changes from 7.2 to 7.4 version. Reason behind is that we are in process of upgrading our system to 7.4. However we may not plan to upgrade the base 7.2 as it has multiple frameworks installed, but to install 7.4(with required FWs) and import 7.2 rules in it.
Post importing we wish to do the retrofit and remediate the rules as per 7.4 features before further development. Not worried about data instances as we haven't hit PROD yet.
Any list of what's changed will help analyze the impact and timeline of the above approach.

I am not sure if you can get the exact list. May be after upgrading you can use the Guardrail warnings to see the rules affected and then rectify the rules.

If I understand your question correctly, you are trying to find the rules in Pega that are changed from Pega 7.2 to Pega 7.4
The ruleset version of Pega shipped rulesets in Pega 7.2 is 07-10-24
The ruleset version of Pega shipped rulesets in Pega 7.4 is 07-10-36
Data-Rule-Summary class list of all rules. Write a report definition to fetch all rules in the system where pyRuleset version is greater than 07-10-24

Nopes am looking for rule types. (e.g. Models became Data Transform, Legacy agents were deprecated, In 7.4 I hear Agents are changed to schedulers, in 6.x I guess in flow action created UI(in 5.x), on upgrade changed to embedded sections). Things like these will give an idea what we are dealing with when an upgrade comes.
We haven't installed 7.4 yet so cannot validate against it.
