Robot Studio fails to open solution after adding reference to Oracle.DataAccess
As title - When I attempt to load the solution after loading this reference it hangs on the "loading project" pop up indefinitely. I must use task manager to close it out. I tried clearing and re-installing oracle, as well as loading a new project and only adding this reference and I still get the error.
The Oracle.DataAccess version I'm loading is Proprietary information hidden

After the support ticket, I was advised to use the oraclequery connector. When I try to set up the connection string, I open Data Link Properties as instructed here https://help.roboticautomation.pega.com/52/components/Oracle_Query.htm
I'm getting this error
I checked and ORACLE_HOME and PATH both contain the link to oracle folder, and there is only 1 entry for each, only 1 version of oracle installed.

@DanQuinlog I don't believe that is an error coming from Pega Robotics. The connector is using .Net connection methods, so it is likely surfacing whatever the underlying message is to you.
If I search for that specific error message, I find several references to it being caused by incorrect system path settings on the machine. I believe you need to search for that error and examine some of the suggested solutions since they are outside of the Pega Robotics product.
My guess based on my search is that you need to edit your environment variables to ensure they are correct.
@DanQuinlogDoes this library require additional references that might be missing perhaps?
I do not have that library available myself, so I am unable to reproduce this. I would suggest that you open a support request as we'll likely need to collect logs from your machine to determine what the issue might be. If you do open a support request, please report the INC here so we can add any resolution once one is discovered.
