Robot Registration Failed
Hello,
a few days ago I managed to get a Robot running via VM but today it doesn't work anymore. I am getting an error within my console
API error: ** Robot registration failed : Attempted to update an active/running Robot ROBO with the WorkGroup RoboGroup
This error appears if I use the runtime and load my project. I am assuming that my previous robot is still registered and somehow it can't reconnect? Is it possible to delete the previous used robot in the Robotics Console or to reconnect on it?

I just solved it by deleting the ROBO user within Pega so a new ROBO can be created. But still the question remains how can I tell the system to create ROBO 1, ROBO 2, ROBO 3 etc.?

Hi,
I believe that you would have to register each robot from their own VM. E.G Robo 1 would have its own VM and Robo 2 would also have its own.

Hi Jeff,
Can you please suggest if there is a bug or normal behavior on the below scenario?
1. When I start Runtime, Bot registers successfully with PEGA 7.2.2
2. But if I kill the Bot runtime and restart the bot, my runtime is failing on the below error
"Robot registration failed : Attempted to update an active/running Robot xxxx with the WorkGroup xxxx"
Does that mean, I have to manually go to PEGA 7.2.2 and delete the registered BOT from PEGA 7.2.2 each time before restarting runtime?

If you kill the bot, then yes. If you shut it down gracefully, then it will de-register itself. Basically, when you shut it down, if it shows as grey in the console, then it will restart fine. If it shows as red, then you will need to de-register it.
