Retain table filtering conditions after refresh
Hello,
I need to retain a table's filter conditions after the section it's embedded in has been refreshed.
Is this possible and how can it achieve it?

Using legacy grid you cannot save the view after filtering the results and also if you perform refresh section after filtering then the grid filtering will be lost. Users tried to log this as an enhancement but these cannot be implemented. Refresh section is designated as the way to reset the state of the grid. That is, refresh section will clear the filter /sort orders by design.
Your option to configure a refresh when based on changes to underlying model changes.
After filtering the results if we perform refresh section rather than Refresh List in any grid. It is an expected behavior to remove the filter on section refresh. But b using an optimized grid, you may have the feasibility to save your view with filtered values and with saved view even if you refresh your screen the view retains your filtered results. Note that with optimized grid Editable controls are not supported so you will have to continue to work around that.

@MarijeSchillern Thanks for your reply. Can you expand on the use of optimized grid and how and where the personalized view is saved and accessed. Currently when I using optimized grid with personalized table and automatic saving options selected the grid filters do not persist after the Section has been refreshed.
