restrict the selection of check boxes only five
in job application portal student can select application checkboxes only 5 results to apply 5 jobs at a time up on next 6 th click i want to restrict

The first thing that comes to mind is to setup some sort of post value/data transform design to increment/decrement some sort of counter to keep track of this every time you toggle a checkbox.
And then when you attempt to go over this limit, you can throw a validation that only x amount of checkboxes can be ticked.

You can use a count variable which is set to 5, and this value will decrease when the user clicks on any checkbox. You can use the Data Transform to decrease the value accordingly. Once it is zero, you can disable the 6th checkbox, by using a "when condition" on the same variable.

Are u using pagelist or you are referring single value property?
If it is pagelist:
You can use IsinPageList When function in when rule you can check the count.
If it is single value the you need to write a DT on click run DT(Logic will be set count value inside DT if value is true else set 0), so at last you can check count value.
