@NirmalaJ2240  Hi, Greetings. You can write your own control and invoke that onkeypress or some event, see sample below

function isNumberKey(evt)
       {
          var charCode = (evt.which) ? evt.which : evt.keyCode;
          if (charCode != 46 && charCode > 31 
            && (charCode < 48 || charCode > 57))
             return false;

          return true;
       }

This will not throw any error but will not allow any other values but numbers and decimal point to be entered.
