REST Integrations XMl and JSOn
Can someone please confirm whether rest service can be dynamically configured so that based on input like if the input using JSON and the output response should be in JSON and if input is an XML then output should be in XML. Is it possible?

Yes you can achieve your requirement, its all depends on select the content type for the request(XML or JSON)

Thanks for the information. But my concern is regarding Service REST where a response can be based on request type in a single Service like
if request is XML the output from Service REST should be XML
For the same service if request is JSON the output should be JSON.
Is it possible to do this is in single service dynamically??

I didn't try this before but I think this can be possible.
Depends on the request type you may need to write a function with workaround to retrieve the response in that requested type.

You might want to use the javax.ws.rs.core.Response class,
@GET
@Path("/topspamsenderchart")
@Produces({MediaType.APPLICATION_XML, MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON})
public Response getTest()
{
Response.ok(something.fetch).type(calculateContentType()).build();
}
