Report Definition - Error adopting XML from post data

On initiating an "Export to PDF" in any of the Report definition rule in Pega 7.2, i am getting a run time exception and the standard error message "There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator" gets downloaded as a html file. On checking the logs, i obtained an error message as "Error adopting XML from post data". What am i doing wrong here?

Hi Ratan,

From the exception what I feel is the xml file is not getting parsed properly , however to investigate further could you please share the complete stack trace (attach it to the post)

and also could you please let me know how you are generating the PDF so that I can try the scenario in my local system.
