Report Definition - Calculate percentages

Hello,

After a look on the PDN and Mesh I need some help for using RD.

I need to calculate a percentage between one group of instances and another one.

I tried to use sub-reports but I encountered an error when I use Divide FA.

I created to reports one that count all instances and another one that count instances with criterias.

I don't find how to do the operation between them.

Any help will be welcome.

Hi Naresh,

The SR was closed with the below suggested local-change. However, please note that this was not verified by Damien.

Root Cause - The Subreport configured with 'Do not match rows' doesn't work in main report's RAF.

 Suggested local-change: 

1. Use single subreport with 2 joins and add count function on joined columns
2. Use this subreport in main report

Ans- Can you please create a function alias of class "Embed-User-Function" use it for calculating percentages.

I tried to use sub-reports but I encountered an error when I use Divide FA.

Ans- When did you faced the error? If it is a compilation error in section means there is a HotFix for it. Please let me know which version of pega you are using.

For more help, please share some attachment with screenshots such that I will replicate and let you know the response.

Hi Prudhvi,

I attached some screenshots of my configuration.

Concerning your first answer I will try but I don't think this can be apply in my case (Except if I hardcode some field but I need RD reusable).

Concerning your second answer, I am facing the error when I run the RD.

Please provide the details of the error faced with pxDivide function along with the log files. Also screenshots showing how the sub report and the main report have been configured with this function would help identify the issue quickly.

Hi,

The only detail of the error is in the screenshot attached.

I attached the log file but the error is not explicit.

I already attached reports configurations but I add the sub reports configuration in the main report.

Both sub reports have the same configuration.
