Regarding Class group for Service Items in CPM

Hi CPM Architects/Pega Academy Team,

Can you please help me in finding the answer for the below question.

In CPM, does the class group for Service Items inherits from the class group for Interactions.

As far as I know, Service Items can be inherited from Interaction Class - PegaCA-Work-Interaction. Please advise.
