Real Time Data Flow failing to activate
Hi All,
We are using multiple Event Strategies to aggregate data in real time, with each Event Strategy in each Data flow and results are being captured in a DataSet of type DDS. Now let's say we have 2 Data flow like this and we are calling them in a Real time data flow with Stream type DataSet as source.
When we are using only one of them in Real time DF, everything is working fine - no issue.
But as soon as we are adding both Data flow in Real time DF, it fails - and it does NOT reactivate until we remove any one of the them.
When I checked the failure message, I saw this error:
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: EventStrategy error when creating Event Strategy state from Data Flow Event Strategy state: version of serialized EventStrategy: es:TestEvs1:XXXX-FW-XXXX-Data-IHAggXXX:EventStrategy1 does not match the version been initialized: es:TestEvs2:XXXX-FW-XXXX-Data-IHAggXXX:EventStrategy1
Does anyone of you have any idea on this error? Or can someone advise on what can be done to fix this?

On reviewing the corresponding SR, we see that it has been resolved. SA-41311 was created as a result of the investigation. Please reference that if you have the same question.

I think you would want to trace this, or at least look at the other entries in the stack trace besides just the line that says IllegalArgumentException .

It was a pega rules issue. We had to raise a SR for this and GCS provided a local change to fix this. The solution is not viable for Production environment, so we are still chasing with GCS on that.
