Questions on using Open Span
Hi,
We got the direction to use RPA or Open Span in automating the biz process. As a part of this process, we will finish all the steps/screens from the process and finally we need to get some returned data at the end of the last screen/step. I came to know that we call RPA in unidirection but I am not sure whether we use it in bidirectional for auto doc purpose. Can someone pls clarify on this? Also, let me know on how to implement the auto doc process from RPA to parent application.

RPA could be used to process the sub-case and perform the steps in the scheduling system. Allow fields in the case for your returned values and set those values in your RPA project.
Another option would be to implement this as an RDA option. This would allow the user to trigger the actions in the external system from your Pega app.

A little more explanation would be helpful to understand what your question is.
RPA can be used to perform tasks on a case and update the case with the results. This may include updating any fields on the case. An RPA process retrieves cases from a workbasket and sets the completion status.

Thank you Jeff. The requirement is like we launch a process from an intent/sub case/S- using RPA to complete all the steps for scheduling appointment. The end result for this whole process is to get the appointment info like when is the appt, where is the location, etc etc. This may be a single record set or multiple records after completion of this process. The parent S- case will use this appointment info in resolving the S- case. This is the high level idea on what we are looking for in this automation. Now you can help me on this.
